Welcome Christina Yver MD

The Facial Nerve Center at Mass. Eye & Ear welcomes our new fellow Dr. Christina Yver. She started in the center a little over a month ago and she is fitting in great. Originally from Fort Worth, TX, Dr. Yver completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at UPenn as well.
"I came to Boston because the FPRS fellowship at Mass Eye and Ear offers truly exceptional training in the spectrum of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and the training in the treatment of facial paralysis patients is unparalleled." While at the Facial Nerve Center, Dr. Yver hopes to grow as a physician and surgeon, gain a nuanced understanding of the treatment of facial plastic & reconstructive patients, and help to advance the field through scholarship.
After this year, she plans on spending her time teaching, doing research, and providing care for patients with cosmetic concerns, those in need of facial reconstructive procedures, and patients with facial paralysis.
In her spare time, Dr. Yver enjoys exploring Boston's restaurant scene, road trips, mixology, and spending time outside with her family.
Dr. Yver is currently seeing patients in clinic on Fridays at the Facial Nerve Center.
