Welcome Kevin Quinn MD

The Facial Nerve Center at Mass. Eye & Ear welcomes our new fellow Dr. Kevin Quinn. He has been with us for about 2 months and has easily transitioned into a key member of our staff.
Dr. Quinn comes to us from otolaryngology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University following his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Maryland. As a resident, he served as the Chair of the Housestaff Council to represent and advocate for all the physicians-in-training in Richmond. He reflects, "This was a wonderful experience, but the recognition that has been by far the most meaningful to me has been the teaching awards I received from medical students and my co-residents over the past few years."
When asked why he chose to come to Boston, Dr. Quinn stated, "Without a doubt the people have been the biggest factor – it's been wonderful to make new friends and colleagues who have such a substantial breadth and depth of knowledge and abilities. Also, the unique environment at Mass Eye and Ear makes for a wonderful training environment. And Boston is a cool city to explore!"

Outside (and inside) of the office, Dr. Quinn is a massive music fan, having grown up playing the drums and guitar, and loves hearing and sharing new tunes. He's also an avid amateur photographer, particularly in the context of traveling, and enjoys exploring new trails on his mountain bike.
Dr. Quinn is looking forward to learning everything he can from the world-renowned experts in facial nerve here and to grow his skills in all aspects of the care of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery patients, from in office injections/procedures to free gracilis muscle transfer.
